Examining the Mental Health Impact of COVID-19

  • New research published by Express Scripts, a Cigna company, examined the use of medications to treat depression, insomnia, and anxiety. The America’s State of Mind report shows these prescriptions increased 21 percent between February 16 and March 15, peaking the week ending March 15, when COVID-19 was declared a pandemic1

EAP Session Expansion*

  • From now through September 30, 2020, customers with access to Cigna's Employee Assistance Program (EAP) will have access to additional sessions with a licensed clinician in Cigna’s network

  • Customers can meet with counselors virtually by phone, tablet or home computer

  • This is being offered to customers who have EAP, Cigna Total Behavioral Health (CTBH), or the emotional well-being resources available to smaller to mid-size clients on Facets with 25-499 employees

Virtual Dental Care Now Available*

  • To assist your employees during the COVID-19 pandemic and quarantine period, we’ve launched Cigna Dental Virtual Care, powered by The TeleDentists®

  • Customers can speak with a licensed dentist by video chat to address urgent dental situations such as pain, infection, swelling and more

  • Through May 31, 2020, Cigna Dental customers can use this virtual care option at no cost for dental consultations
